Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The objective of the test was to evaluate the effects of the test item on the reproduction and growth of the earthworm, Eisenia andrei, in an artificial soil under laboratory conditions and following the procedure described in the corresponding OECD 222 guideline.

No statistically significant mortality nor impact on bodyweights were recorded in all treatment groups after 28 days of exposure, In the absence of significant mortality, the NOEC is stated to be ≥ 1000.0 mg/kg dry soil. No statistically significant difference in the number of juveniles was recorded in all treatment groups after 56 days of exposure. Nevertheless based on an expert judgment, the highest test concentration of 1000.0 mg/Kg/sdw is proposed as the LOEC. NOEC is therefore 555.6 mg/Kg/sdw
