Conclusion on classification

Among the three short-term LC50/EC50 obtained in acute aquatic toxicity test the lowest is 48h-EC50 invertebrates = 3.0 mg/L.

The only long-term EC10/NOEC obtained in chronic aquatic toxicity test is 72h-ErC10 algae= 9.4 mg/L.

In addition, 5,5'-Dithiodi-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2(3H)-thione is not readily biodegradable.

According to CLP regulation EC 1272/2008,5,5'-Dithiodi-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2(3H)-thione is therefore classified as Aquatic Chronic 2, H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
