Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Log Koc at 25 °C: > 4.8 at pH 4 and < 1.3 at pH 9 (main chromatographic component respectively) (HPLC method; OECD 121, EU C.19)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

As the test substance contains ionisable components, the test was performed at pH 4 and pH 9, at the extremes of the pH range of environmental relevance.

At pH 4, all major components of the test material were found to have retention times greater than approximately 4.1 minutes, equivalent to Log Koc values of greater than 3.3. The retention time of the main chromatographic component was approx. 5.2 minutes, equivalent to a Log Koc value of 4.8.

At pH 9, the main chromatographic component was found to have retention times less than that of the lowest reference standard, acetanilide, indicating a Log Koc value of less than 1.3.
