There exists no test method applicable to gas mixtures. Absence of oxidizing properties is based on the Discussion below.

Additional information

Carbon monoxide is formed by the incomplete combustion of carbonaceous materials or by the reduction of carbon dioxide. Its oxidizing potential is therefore very low, notably compared to Oxygen.

Hydrogen and Nitrogen lack any Oxygen atom. They are therefore not oxidizing.
