Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test solutions

Details on test solutions:
Identity and concentration of auxiliary solvent for dispersal: Preliminary solutions were prepared in dimethylformanide at
a concentration of 100mg/10ml solvent. An aliquot of this
solution was then dispersed in reconstituted water to give
the 1mg/l test concentration.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The 48-Hour EC50 for the test material to Daphnia magna based on nominal test concentrations was greater than 1.0 mg/l and correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration was equal to 1.0 mg/l. The test concentration of 1.0 mg/l was the highest attainable test concentration due to the limited solubility of the test material in water and auxiliary solvent, and having due regard

for the amount of auxiliary solvent permitted in the test under the OECD Guidelines.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The acute toxicity of the test material to the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna has been investigated and gave a 48-Hour EC50 of greater than 1.0 mg/I. Correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration was equal to 1.0 mg/I.
Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of the test material to the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna has been investigated and gave a 48-Hour EC50 of greater than 1.0 mg/I. Correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration was equal to 1.0 mg/I.
