Additional information

To assess the ready biodegradability of the registered substance, a weight of evidence approach was used, using one experimental study and one QSAR. The experimental study was performed on the registered substance according to OECD Guideline 301D but without GLP statement. The QSAR data was performed on the registered substance using the Biowin v4.10 model, plug-in from EPISUITE v4.1 from US EPA. As we obtained the same results (not readily biodegradable) between the experimental and QSAR data, we can conclude that the registered substance is not readily biodegradable. In addition, in a preliminary biodegradability test performed on the registered substance and available in the bioaccumulation study report (Kyushu, 1986), no biodegradability was observed.
