Aquatic tests evaluating the toxicity of the substance for two different trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae) are available. The aquatic invertebrate Daphnia magna turned out to be more sensitive than the green algae species Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata. For Daphnia magna an EC50 (48 h) of 1.29 mg/L (nominal) was calculated while for freshwater algae an ErC50 (72 h) of 3.27 mg/L (measured, geom. mean) and an ErC10 (72 h) of 1.8 mg/L (measured, geom.mean) was determined.
