Conclusion on classification

The registration substance is readily biodegraded and has a very low potential for bioaccumulation & biomagnification based on a measured Log Kow and metabolism pathways.

Acute tests were carried out for Fish, Daphnia (WAF; determined by TOC) and Algae (WAF; determined by TOC) at different substance loadings. Up to the water solubility of the registration substance of 25 mg/L at 20 deg C no effects were observed. Based on these facts it can be concluded

Short-term effects

CLP                  no environmental classification required

Long-term (chronic) effects

CLP                  no environmental classification required
