Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Chronic toxicity to Daphnia has been investigated on the registered substance itself and three structural analogues of the registered substance. Tests were conducted according to OECD test methods and dissolution/dispersion agents were used to increase concentration of two of the substances in the test medium. Other studies investigated the effects of a water accommodated fraction resulting in significantly lower levels of exposure.

In contrast with the experimental values from the tested substance and its structural analogues, QSAR estimates for the registered substance predict NOEC values ranging from 0.0003 mg/L to 0.036 mg/L. However, similarly low values are obtained from QSAR estimates of the three structural analogues and it has to be considered that modelling may not be a reasonable predictor for these substances.
