Description of key information

The melting point determination of Disodium 5,5'-(2-(1,3-dihydro-3-oxo-2H-indazol-2-ylidene)-1,2-dihydro-3H-indol-3-one)disulphonate (CAS No. 860-22-0) was done following OECD Guideline 102 and according to the metal block capillary method. The test item decomposes at >340 °C. The test was conducted in replicates and the mean decomposition point was found to be >340 °C at 965.1 hPa. Thus, it was not possible to estimate the boiling point experimentally.
