Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Remarks:
Not conducted under GLP
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
flask method
Key result
Water solubility:
< 2 mg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
5.41
Details on results:
Considering that the product was not completely soluble in reference solution, and that the absorbance of the test solutions was below the detection limit of the instrument in the visible range, just an approximate solubility value was determined.
Conclusions:
Water solubility was determined following OECD 105 at 20°C and was found to be << 2 mg/L at pH = 5.41
Executive summary:

Water solubility was determined following OECD 105, shake flask method, with the analytical determination by UV-VIS spectrophotometry. The value for the water solubility at 20°C was found to be << 2 mg/L at pH = 5.41 (Reach&Colours, 2015).

Description of key information

The water solubility was determined according to OECD Guideline 105 (Reach&Colours, 2015).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
