The partition coefficient (log Pow = 12.43-20.54) of the substance 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid, mixed esters with dipentaerythritol (CAS 84418-63-3, UVCB) was determined by QSAR calculation with KOWWIN (v1.68).
Due to the fact that this substance consists of long chain fatty acid esters which exceed the applicability domain of KOWWIN the value for log Pow is reported with restrictions. Therefore the partition coefficient of the substance is deduced to be > 10.
