Conclusion on classification

Toxicity tests for fish, algae and Daphnia magna are available for the substance. The LC50 for fish is 12.89 mg/L, EC50 value for Daphnia magna is 5.4 mg/L, whereas the ErC50 for algae is 13.78 mg/L. Based on these data, no classification for acute toxicity is required according to CLP, 2011: Table 4.1.0 a) i

The lowest chronic available value is the ErC10 to algae of 10 mg/L. The substance is not readily biodegradable. In view of the acute Daphnia result the substance needs to be classified for chronic toxicity according to Figure 4.1.1 and Table 4.1.0, (b) iii, resulting in Chronic 2 and H411.
