Description of key information

Flash point = 114°C (exp): not a flammable liquid (CLP/GHS).
Not flammable if contact with air or water (waived).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

As the substance is a liquid, the relevant test for flammable properties is the flash point measurement. A fully reliable experimental study is presented under point 4.11.

Based on the chemical structure and experience, no flammable properties are anticipated if contact with air or water, therefore studies are not required.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) criteria, the measured flash point is above the threshold value of 60°C, therefore the substance is NOT considered as a flammable liquid.

According to UN Globally Harmonised System (GHS) criteria, the measured flash point is above the threshold value of 93°C, therefore the substance is NOT considered as a flammable liquid.
