Justification:Trichlorosilane is an inorganic volatile liquid substance which instantly and completely decomposes when in contact with water. For that reason, no experimental testing for this property could be performed with trichlorosilane.

In water, trichlorosilane decomposes rapidly to produce a silicone polymer and hydrochloric acid. Therefore, hydrolysis is considered as the only relevant transformation pathway for trichlorosilane in the environmental media.

In general, trichlorosilane is not expected to bioaccumulate and/or bioconcentrate in aquatic organisms.
