Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Direct Blue 080:1 is a multiconstituent substance composed by the acidic and the sodium salt forms of the same structure (58.44 % and 13.55 % of the substance respectively).Relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer method as per recommendations of OECD 109 "Density of liquids and solids". Density was calculated from the difference in weight between the full and empty pycnometer and its volume. The test has been conducted on the sodium salt of the Direct Blue 080:1. The relative density of the salt form at 20 °C is 1.729. Considering the great similarity of the molecules and the composition of the substance, the relative density of the multiconstituent substance is expected to be practically the same of the sodium salt (1.729 at 20 °C).
