Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption/desorption behaviour of TCD-emulsifier in soil, sediment and sewage sludge, as indicated by the adsorption/desorption coefficient (Koc), is described by a QSAR estimation using EpiSuite 4.1/KOCWIN v2.00.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
265 200

Additional information

The soil adsorption coefficient of TCD-emulsifier was calculated by a QSAR estimation using EpiSuite 4.1/KOCWIN v2.00. The estimated value of Koc = 265200 L/kg (MCI method) is relatively high and might suggest an increased potential for adsorption.
