Description of key information

Key study: Test method OECD 201. GLP study. The ECr50 of the test item in green algae (based on growth inhibition rate and measured geometric mean) was 3.154 mg/L after 72 hours of exposure. The ECr10 (72h) was 0.913 mg/L and NOEC (72h) 0.32 mg/L.

Key study: The green algae growth inhibition test was performed according to OECD Guideline 201 (GLP study). Based on preliminary results, the initial density of 1 x 10E+04 cells/mL Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata were exposed to up to 100 mg/L (6 replicates per control and 3 replicates per concentration) for 72 hours under static conditions. The ECr50 of the test item in green algae (based on growth inhibition rate and measured geometric mean) was 3.154 mg/L after 72 hours of exposure. The ECr10 (72h) was 0.913 mg/L and NOEC (72h) 0.32 mg/L.
