The acute fish toxicity test was performed according internal method similar to current OECD guideline 203 using freshwater fish, Oncorhynchus mykiss.
Fishes were tested at these following different concentrations: 100, 200 & 1000 mg/L
- At 100 mg/L: all 8 fishes were alive at 24 and 48 hours of exposure time (pH was 8.2 after 48 hours exposure time).
- At 200 mg/L: all 8 fishes were dead at 24 hours of exposure time (pH was 8.3 after 48 hours exposure time).
In conclusion:
TL0 = 100 mg/L
TL50 = 140 mg/L
TL100 = 200 mg/L.

Description of key information
Several tests were performed in the 1970’s to access toxicity of the test substance FAT 20004 in the fish. The toxicity test was performed according internal method similar to current OECD guideline 203 using freshwater fish, Oncorhynchus mykiss. The lowest TL50 determined was 140 mg/l and the highest recorded was 450 mg/l. Hence, it can be concluded that TL50 was >100 mg/l.
