Description of key information

In the short term toxicity test to fish the NOEC value of the test substance C17-Methacrylate based on nominal (loaded) concentration was >= 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a 96 hour acute toxicity study, zebrafish (Danio rerio) were exposed to C 17 Methacrylate at nominal (loading) concentrations of 0 (control), 100 mg/L under static-renewal conditions in accordance with the OECD 203 test guideline. The water pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen were within acceptable guideline specifications. The 96 hour NOEC was ≥100 mg/L based on the nominal (loading) concentration of the test substance.
