Description of key information

The test substance is found to be readily biodegradable in an OECD 301 D Closed Bottle test. As a consequence, the hydrolysis potential and Koc do not need to be determined experimentally.

Based on its chemical structure, the substance is not expected to undergo abiotic degradation by hydrolysis.

Based on an experimentally determined log Kow of 2.7, the substance is not expected to bioaccumulate, and is not expected to be adsorptive to soil and/or organic matter.

For the purpose of the exposure assessment, the Henry constant has been determined in accordance with equation R.16 -4 from ECHA's Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment. H was found to be 9.01 Pa-m3/ mole at 20°C which indicates low volatilisation from water.
