Key result
Flash point:
40 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013.25 hPa
Interpretation of results:
Category 3 (flammable liquids) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The flash point of the test item was determined to be 40 °C at 1013.25 hPa.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.9 and ISO 3679:2004 to determine flash point of the test item using a closed cup method. The start temperature for the main test was chosen based on available information for the stabiliser Hydrocarbons, C4, 1,3-butadiene-free, polymerised., triisobutylene fraction, hydrogenated (isododecane). The measured flash point at atmospheric pressure was corrected to a standard pressure of 1013 hPa. The flash point was determined to be at 40 °C (corrected to the ambient pressure and rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C) at 1013.25 hPa. No observations were made which cause doubt on the validity of the outcome of the study.

Description of key information
