Description of key information

Three independant key studies, according to OECD Guideline and GLP were performed to determined COD, BOD5 and the inherent biodegradability of FAT 20036/F.

The COD was found to be 493 mg O2/gr , BOD5 to be 0 mg O2/gr and the inherent biodegradbility to be 0 %. Several other support studies are also available.

Based on test results, the inherent biodegradability test and the BOD5/COD ratio (<0.5) indicate that the test substance FAT 20036 is not expected to be readily biodegradable.
