Thermal Stability:

The test item in a closed glass crucible showed a small exothermic effect in the temperature range of 130 - 180 °C with an energy of - 10 J.

Results of the DSC-measurements on thermal stability:

No Sample weight / mg Start of effect / °C Energy/J/g
PN10160 10.29 130 -10

Dynamic method: Vapour-liquid equilibrium (VLE):

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 129.1 to 179.9°C. The measured vapour pressure values together with the measured temperatures are listed below

Results of the dynamic method:

No. Temperature / °C Vapour pressure / hPa
1 129.1 13.5
2 142.0 19.3
3 156.5 30.1
4 166.0 39.8
5 173.8 49.9
6 179.9 59.6
7 169.5 44.9
8 159.5 34.0
9 149.0 24.5

The vapour pressure of the test substance was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperature 20, 25 and 50°C.

The Antoine constants were found to be: A = 8.9236, B = -2335.45 and C = 273.15.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C is 0.09 hPa.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test substance has been determined by vapour-liquid equilibrium measurement according to the OECD test guideline 104 and Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4.

The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C, 25°C and 50°C is 0.09hPa, 0.12hPa and 0.50 hPa respectively.

Description of key information
