Additional information

For the determination of the surface tension of a test solution of Tetradecylamine, one data is reported from a GLP guideline study (Ciric, 2015).

The surface tension of a test solution of Tetradecylamine at 90% of its saturation solubility in water was determined to be 68.9 mN/m at 20°C in a GLP-compliant study conducted in accordance with EU Method A.5 and OECD Guideline 115. This value is considered reliable without restriction (Klimisch 1) and is used as key value for the assessment. Tetradecylamine is considered not to be surface active.
