Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The LC50 for toxicity to fih is in the range from 0.5 to 0.71 mg/L
- Executive summary:
The substance was tested for toxicity to fish according to OECD guideline 203 for a period of 96 hours. Additionally to the solvent controls, the following concentrations were used: 0.1, 0.25, 0.35, 0.5, 1.0 and 10 mg/L. Due to the bad solubility of the substance, Tween 80/1 was used to support the solubility. For each concentration 10 brachydanio rerio were used. In the concentration range from 0.5 to 10 mg/L lethality occured, whereas in the range from 0.1 to 0.35 mg/L only symptoms could be observed.
Based on the test results the following lethality-valued could be defined.
LC0 = 0.35 mg/L; LC50 = 0.5 - 0.71 mg/L; LC100 = 0.71 mg/L
