Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Tobler (2015) conducted a stuy following recent guidelines and under GLP. Daphnia magna were exposed to the test substance for 48 hours in static fresh water at 21 -22 °C and pH 7.8 -7.9. The substance has a low solubility, however the test media were clear solutions throughout the entire test duration. Mortality in controls was < 10 % and dissolved oxygen levels at end of test were ≥ 3 mg/L in the control and test vessels, therefore the validity criteria were fulfilled. The 48-hour EC50 was calculated to be 6.9 mg/L with 95% confidence limits of 5.7 and 8.2 mg/L. The value is selected to be carried forward for risk assessment, classification and labelling. The study is considered complete, adequate and reliable for the purpose of risk assessment and classification.
