Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C to be 22.7 Pa, 31.8 Pa and 147 Pa respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
22.7 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD Test Guideline 104 (2006), Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.4 and OPPTS 830.7950 to determine the vapour pressure of the test item. Therefore the vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 87 to 168 °C. From the measured data points of the vapour pressure curve the constants A, B and C of the Antoine equation was derived by regression of the data points. The vapour pressure was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C to be 22.7 Pa, 31.8 Pa and 147 Pa respectively. No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome.
