Conclusion on classification

The substance D-C16 was tested for acute toxicity towards daphnia and algae, showing no effects up to the maximum water solubility. Thus, the substance is not subject to classification for acute aquatic toxicity according to CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008).

Additionally, the substance was shown not to be readily biodegradable in an OECD 301C test for ready biodegradability and has been tested for bioaccumulation potential according to OECD 117. As a result the log Pow was found being ≥ 6.5. In conclusion, the substance is subject to classification in category 4 for chronic aquatic toxicity (H413) according to CLP.
