Description of key information

Long-term toxicity studies on earthworm, terrestrial plants and soil microorganisms are planned. The substance falls into soil hazard category 4 (REACH guidance chapter R7c Table R.7.11-2), as it is not readily biodegradable and very acutely toxic to aquatic organisms(lowest EC/LC50 < 1 mg/L). Therefore, long-term soil toxicity tests according to the standard guidelines are needed. The long-term toxicity study on earthworm (OECD TG 222), terrestrial plants (OECD TG 208) and soil microorganisms (OECD TG 216) have been planned. PNECsoil will be derived from the lowest effect value of those studies for further risk assessment.
