- Under the instrumental conditions presented, the mean measured reagent water solubility of Brominated Epoxy, based on the primary component, at 20°C was 30.3 ± 1.3 μg/L (CV = 4.3%, N = 5) at a flow rate of approximately 1.0 mL/min and was 37.5 ± 1.6 μg/L (CV = 4.3%, N = 5) at a flow rate of approximately 0.5 mL/min. The mean measured Brominated Epoxy concentration as a function of flow-rate differed by 21.3%, which was well within the ±30% test criterion. The overall mean measured water solubility of Brominated Epoxy, based on the primary component, at 20°C was 33.9 ± 4.1 μg/L (CV = 12%, N = 10)
The mean measured reagent water solubility of Brominated Epoxy, based on the secondary component, at 20°C was less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L) at both flow rates. The overall mean measured water solubility of Brominated Epoxy, based on the secondary component, at 20°C was less than the LOQ (1.00 μg/L), respectively. The pH was measured for an aqueous sample collected at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The measured pH of reagent water and an aqueous sample was 6.58 and 8.38, respectively. - Conclusions:
- Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
The water solubility of Brominated Epoxy, based on the primary component, in reagent water at 20°C using the column elution method was determined to be 33.9 ± 4.1 μg/L (CV = 12%, N = 10). - Executive summary:

- Details on results:
- Under the instrumental conditions presented, the mean measured reagent water solubility of F-2200 HM, based on the primary component, at 20°C was 25.8 ± 2.0 μg/L (CV = 7.7%, N = 5) at a flow rate of approximately 1.0 mL/min and was 27.0 ± 0.43 μg/L (CV = 1.6%, N = 5) at a flow rate of approximately 0.5 mL/min (Table 3). The mean measured F-2200 HM concentration as a function of flow-rate differed by 4.4%, which was well within the ±30% test criterion. The overall mean measured water solubility of F-2200 HM, based on the primary component, at 20°C was 26.4 ± 1.5 μg/L (CV = 5.7%, N = 10).
The mean measured reagent water solubility of F-2200 HM, based on the secondary component, at 20°C was less than the LOQ (20.0 μg/L) at both flow rates (Table 3). Note: although two fractions (238C-134-9 and –10) had quantified traces for F-2200 HM as the secondary component similar in calculated concentration to the results from the primary component, in the opinion of the Study Director, this was coincidental due to very low response relative to the baseline. The overall mean measured water solubility of F-2200 HM, based on the secondary component, at 20°C was less than the LOQ (20.0 μg/L).
Representative chromatograms of solubility samples at flow rates of approximately 1.0 and 0.5 mL/min are presented in Figure 7. The pH was measured for an aqueous sample collected at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The measured pH of reagent water and an aqueous sample was 6.47 and 7.64, respectively. - Conclusions:
- Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
The water solubility of F-2200 HM, based on the primary component, in reagent water at 20oC using the column elution method was determined to be 26.4 ± 1.5 μg/L (CV = 5.7%, N = 10). - Executive summary:

Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Water solubility:
- 33.9 µg/L
- at the temperature of:
- 20 °C
Additional information
n=0 component is the most soluble component while water solubility of components n=1 and n=2 were less than study LOQ. Thus, the water solubility value for n=0 component is taken for assessment.
The water solubility of Brominated Epoxy based on the primary component, in reagent water at 20°C using the column elution method was 33.9 μg/L.
The water solubility of F-2200, based on the primary component, in reagent water at 20°C using the column elution method was 26.4 μg/L.
