Based on the results obtained in biodegradability screening tests, TEPA is expected not to be completely (ultimately) biodegradable. However, partial degradation through co-metabolic processes may occur in water, sediment and soil. TEPA has been shown to be converted co-metabolically under nitrogen limiting conditions.

Data was used predominantly from the linear fraction of the multi consituent because this has the biggest percentage within the MCS.
