oxidising liquids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 Annex VII, column 2 section 7.13 the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of its constituents chemical structures. The substance does not contain constituents with oxygen or halogen atoms chemically bonded to nitrogen or oxygen. Furthermore, handling and use confirm that the substance is non-oxidizing. According to ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment (Chapter R.7a: Endpoint Specific Guidance, R.7.1.13.2, July 2017) the study does not need to be conducted.

Description of key information

Predicted not to have oxidising properties based on lack of functional groups that are known to have oxidising properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
