Description of key information

Testing is considered not to be required as based on the chemical structure it can be concluded that propylene carbonate is non oxidising

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oxygen molecules in propylene carbonate are only chemically bound to carbon molecules. Furthermore the substance does not contain any chemical groups associated with oxidising properties and is therefore considered not to be oxidising.
