Description of key information

Graphite dusts with particles sizes from 4 to 40 µm are able to explode in a wide range of concentrations. The minimum ignition energy is 1 kJ for the finest dust. The dusts tested were ranked as St1 class. Denkevits, A. (2003)

Study result is applicable to Expanded Graphite Powder as well as to Synthetic Graphite.
