Rats dosed at 1500 and 2250 mg/kg died.

All rats that died exhibited stained perinea and decreased muscle tone. The rat receiving 2250 mg/kg had a discharge from the eyes and mouth one day after dosing. The rat receiving 1000 mg/kg experienced some hair loss on its abdomen and perineal area.

All rats that died exhibited severe weight loss. All surviving rats exhibited moderate weight loss 1-2 days after dosing followed by normal weight gain.
