Description of key information

A study was carried out according to EU Method C.19 and OECD Guideline 121 (Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)). Measured test item retention times (2.66 min (Method 1) and 2.65 min (Method 2)) were lower than the retention time of the first eluting standard: Acetanilide (3.26 min (Method 1) and 3.23 min (Method 2)). This result shows that log Koc of the test item is lower than the calibrated range. As the Acetanilide is the reference item with lowest Koc value, no further test was performed. Using the HPLC method the log Koc was determined to be < 1.25 and Koc < 17.78.
