Description of key information

No terrestrial arthropod toxicity studies were available for diethylene triamine.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Since invertebrates were the most sensitive group as indicated from aquatic toxicity data, a chronic earthworm study was conducted. The results of this earthworm study indicate the PEC/PNEC ratio was <1, indicating no need for further testing of the soil compartment, therefore testing on terrestrial arthropods can be waived.
