Additional information

The key study is a Klimisch-1, GLP-compliant study, sponsored by DAIKIN INDUSTRIES LTD and carried out in 2012 by LAUS GmBH. according to OECD 121 and EU Method C.19 (HPLC estimation method). The adsorption coefficient of the substance in soil and in sewage sludge was estimated according to the HPLC Method, determining three independent values of log Koc and the mean value is reported as 4.181 ± 0.001.

In general substances with a Koc <500 – 1000 L/kg are not likely sorbed to sediment (SETAC 1993). According to this, a log Koc or log Kow of ≥3 is used as a trigger value for sediment effects assessment.
