Description of key information

9.5 at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. Perrin report the dissociation constant to be pKa = 9.5 at 25 °C. HSDB report the dissociation constant to be pKa = 9.5 and Beilstein report the dissociation constant to be pKa = 9.21 at 35 °C. All three reported values are in the same range and therefore regarded as reliable. The dissociation constant of pKa = 9.5 at 25 °C was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment as it was from the most reliable publication.
