Conclusions:

The particle size distribution (volume distribution) of methacrylamide was measured by laser diffraction with dry dispersing.
The dustiness of the substance is low.
However, as a significant proportion of particles (> 1 %) have a diameter below 50 µm, inhalation is considered as a relevant exposure pathway.
Executive summary:

The particle size distribution (volume distribution) of methacrylamide was measured by laser diffraction with dry dispersing.

The average of three measurements is: d90: 1644 µm; d50: 967 µm; d10: 348 µm;

A proportion of 1.15 % has a diameter of 47.94 µm (d1.15: 47.94 µm).

The dustiness of the substance is low.

However, as a significant proportion of particles (> 1 %) have a diameter below 50 µm, inhalation is considered as a relevant exposure pathway (cf ECHA Guidance R.14, page 110).
