Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance hydrolyses rapidly and therefore has a low potential for bioaccumulation. The end product of hydrolysis at low concentrations is methylsilanetriol. This species has a low log KOW (-2.4). Therefore, in accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the bioaccumulation in aquatic species study does not need to be conducted.
