Description of key information

A 48h LC50 of 2618 mg/L was reported from a static test with the marine water copepod Acartia tonsa after exposure to DHX2. The study was performed in accordance with GLP and the ISO 14669 and 5667 -16 test guideline.

Additional information

In the key study (reliable with restrictions), the marine water copepod Acartia tonsa was exposed to 1000 - 10007 mg DHX2/L following a 48h static test design in accordance with ISO 14669 and 5667 -16. Analytical verification of test concentrations was lacking as well as information on test substance purity. Solubility in marine water was not confirmed at levels > 1000 mg/L and results/details on the range finding test were not reported. A 48h LC50 of 2618 mg/L was calculated.
