Additional information

Based on an adsorption study ethylenediamine is likely to sorb strongly to soil. The adsorption potential is more related to the cation-exchange capacity of the soil , than the organic content.

A Henrys law constant of 0,6 Pa*m3/mole can be calculated from water solubility and vapour pressure at 25 °C, from which a partitioning coefficient air/water of 3.2*10-3 at temperature 25°C can be calculated. This value implies that volatilisation from water is low.
