Description of key information

A study was conducted to determine the adsorption/desorption coefficient of LAB using the ASTM E47.06 Draft method. The Koc was 22000.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
22 000

Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the adsorption/desorption coefficient of LAB using the ASTM E47.06 Draft method. A radiolabeled sample of C12 LAB wsa mixed with four different soil types for 24 hours, then centrifuged and analyzed for radioactivity. The resultant soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) was determined to be 22000 and is used as the key value.
