A study does not need to be conducted according to REACH Annex IX Section 9.3.2 Column 2 when the logKow is below 3.

Additional information

The bioaccumulation factor (BCF) was estimated to be 3.2 and 9.7 L/kg for the monomer and dimer, respectively, using the US EPA Epiwin (v.4.0) software. Due to its low bioaccumulation factor the test item is expected to have no bioaccumulation potential. Furthermore, direct and indirect exposure of the test item to water and soil is highly unlikely. Therefore, the test item is not considered to have a bioaccumulation potential.
