Description of key information

Henry's Law constant for neo-decanoic acid, 0.535 Pa.m3/mole was estimated using the bond method HenryWin v3.20 (EPISuite v4.11).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The estimated Henry's law constant of 0.54 Pa.m3/mole for neodecanoic acid is in agreement with a measured value of 0.15 Pa.m3/mole for a similar material, decanoic acid. Volatilization from water is not expected to be a significant loss process for neodecanoic acid.
