Additional information

From acute aquatic toxicity tests on algae and daphnia and from the long-term toxicity test on daphnia toxic effects were observed at high water accommodated fractions. Probably, these effects were caused by the high pH-value of the water fractions. As the EL10 value of the chronic test has been determined as 68.2 - much higher than 1 mg/L - and even the EL50 values from the acute toxicity tests have been determined above 10 mg/L, Flue dust is not deemed as an acute or chronic aquatic toxic hazard.
