Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to reliable handbook data (e.g. CRC handbook and Merck handbook) the boiling point of magnesium is ca. 1095°C at atmospheric pressure (CRC handbook states 1090°C and Merck handbook states 1100°C). Handbook data considered to be from a trusted source acc. to "ECHA, Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment – Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance" and therefore, the decomposition temperature could be regarded as valid.
