Additional information

The flash point of paraffin and hydrocarbon waxes ranges from 160°C to 300°C. A flash point of 317°C was reported by CONCAWE (2010a). The flash point was measured using the EN ISO 2719 and ASTM D 93 test methods. Additionally, a flash point range of >160°C to 300°C was reported by the European Wax Federation (1990).
